Lynn Hill Guest House is a family run bed and breakfast located in the centre of Dereham – the “Heart of Norfolk”. Dereham is a market town nestled in the picturesque Breckland and only 16 miles away from Norwich. We are perfectly located for strolling out to explore all that Dereham has to offer and providing easy access for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Whether you are visiting relatives, a family on holiday or a contractor working in the area for a few days or even months, we would love to welcome you to Lynn Hill Guest House.

We may be a small Bed and Breakfast but this has enabled us to establish great relationships with our guests. Many of whom return to us and have been returning to us for many years, not just as guests but as friends. Many have moved to the local area, using us as a base during their relocation and are now great personal friends of ours.

Lynn Hill Guest House is a family run business which has been established for over 35 years.

We offer ample parking and our accommodation consists of 6 ground floor and first floor, beautifully furnished, family, twin, double and single bedrooms that have tea and coffee making facilities, Freeview TVs and free wireless broadband. Lynn Hill Guest House is a non-smoking establishment, although a covered outside area is available should you wish to have a relaxing smoke. We are fully Fire Safety Compliant.

At Lynn Hill Guest House our aim is to make you feel relaxed and comfortable, offering you that home from home feeling, clean rooms and a warm Norfolk welcome.

There is ample parking in our private car park and garage space for bikes.

Local Transport
The nearest bus stop for Norwich is only a two minute walk from the guest house. For a larger choice of destinations and buses a 7 minute walk into town is an option. There is also a daily national express service from London to Dereham.

Norwich train station is 30 minutes away by road. Norwich International Airport is also just 16 miles away or a 25 minute taxi ride.

Local Attractions

Breckland is an area of breathtaking natural beauty, it is the perfect base from which to explore an abundance of charming villages, stately homes, family attractions, theatres, golf courses, wildlife reserves and parks as well as a range of wildlife including seals.

Head north to discover north Norfolk's unspoilt coastline, wide sandy beaches, bustling harbour villages and towns. The nearest coastline is just under 40 minutes away. The medieval cathedral city of Norwich is just 30 minutes' drive away and is a city not to be missed. Also not to be missed are the magical Norfolk Broads, reachable by car in 40 minutes. Here you can hire boats or choose from a variety of boat tours.

Dereham itself has its own attractions, with a range of shops, a cinema, bars and restaurants in abundance, a bowling alley and soft play area and a magnificent pool and leisure complex; it even has its own restored private railway.
